- Required Account Information (for account creation and access):
- Full name

- User ID (linked to your authentication credentials)
- Platform Logs and Monitoring
We maintain internal logs of user activity, including interactions with the platform, such as:
- Schema consultations
- Code generation
- AI model interactions
This allows us to monitor platform health, prevent abuse, and improve features. These logs are tied to your user ID but are not shared or sold.
We do not store any of your uploaded or generated CSV files.

We rely on trusted third-party providers to deliver core services:
- Authentication provider: Used to securely manage login and account access. We do not store or have access to your password.
- AI platform: Used to process prompts and generate synthetic datasets. Prompts and inputs may be logged by the AI provider in accordance with their data usage policies.
- Payment processor: Stripe securely handles all financial transactions. We do not store your credit card information.

We do not share your personal information with advertising platforms or CRM systems.

- Personal and account-related information is stored securely in our backend systems.
- Feedback and credit-related information is stored only for internal operations and improvement purposes.
- Temporary storage may be used for AI-generated code or schema definitions. This content is periodically deleted and is not linked to any personal files.
π¬ Your Rights
- You may request to delete your account at any time. Personal information associated with your account will be anonymized.
- We retain certain anonymized usage data to improve product performance and monitor platform reliability.
- Generated data, prompts, or code are not permanently linked to your identity and are removed on a rolling basis.

Welcome to Datonaut. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Datonaut platform. By using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. π Purpose of the Platform
Datonaut is a synthetic data generation tool. It allows users to describe, upload, or request dataset structures and receive AI-generated data for non-production purposes such as testing, prototyping, or educational use. All data is synthetic and does not represent real individuals or organizations.
2. π€ Account and Access
- You must create an account to access most features of the platform.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- We may limit or monitor account usage to protect platform integrity.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that abuse, misuse, or violate these Terms.
3. π³ Credits and Usage
- Datonaut operates on a credit-based system. Credits are consumed when using core features (e.g., consultations, CSV downloads).
- Credits may be earned (e.g., through voluntary feedback), granted (e.g., during onboarding), or purchased.
- All credits are non-refundable, including unused credits. We provide a free demo for evaluation purposes.
- In the event of a platform error, we may restore or compensate credits at our discretion.
- Credits may expire after a period of inactivity or account dormancy. Expiration policies will be clearly communicated in your account dashboard.
4. π Usage Limits
- Datonaut may enforce limits on the number of daily actions per user or per IP address to ensure fair access.
- Abuse of these limits through automation, scripts, or bots is prohibited and may result in account suspension.
5. π« Prohibited Use
You agree not to use Datonaut:
- To generate, simulate, or distribute real personal, health, or confidential data
- To violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- To automate platform access or scrape data using bots or scripts
- To overload, disrupt, or reverse-engineer our systems
6. π Ownership and Intellectual Property
- You retain full rights to download and use the output files you generate (e.g., CSVs, PDFs).
- The underlying logic, code, algorithms, and platform infrastructure remain the sole intellectual property of Datonaut.
- User feedback is welcome but voluntary and does not grant any claim to ownership or licensing.
7. π₯ Termination
- You may stop using the platform at any time.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access for violating these Terms, attempting abuse, using automated tools, or otherwise interfering with service reliability.
8. π Service Changes
- We may modify features, pricing, credit tiers, or availability without prior notice.
- These Terms may be updated periodically. Major changes will be communicated via the platform.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Use of the platform from other countries is at your own risk and subject to your local laws.

Important Notice on Data Usage
All datasets generated by the Datonaut platform are fully synthetic and do not contain or represent real individuals, customers, or companies.
The purpose of the platform is to provide artificial datasets for:
- Software development and testing
- Prototyping dashboards or applications
- Academic, research, or demonstration use
- Use cases that do not require real-world data
π€ You agree not to:
- Use generated data for production systems involving real users
- Represent the generated data as factual, legally binding, or compliant with regulatory standards

Datonaut disclaims any responsibility for how the generated data is used. It is your responsibility to ensure proper safeguards and context when using artificial datasets in your workflow.

Datonaut operates on a credit-based system. Credits are used to access core functionality, including:

- AI-generated code or file generation
Credits may be:
- Purchased via our secure payment processor
- Earned by providing optional feedback
- Granted during onboarding or promotional events

All credit purchases are non-refundable.
We encourage all users to explore the free demo before making a purchase.
If a technical error or platform issue prevents you from receiving a valid result, we may restore or compensate credits at our sole discretion.
